Calling all writers, poets, and creative minds!
Join us for O! Highland – The Appalachian Ode Project, a special community writing workshop series celebrating the beauty, stories, and spirit of Highland County.
Over three evenings, participants will gather to write poetry, share ideas, and collaborate on a collective ode inspired by our Appalachian home. No experience is required—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Workshop Dates: April 9, April 16, and April 23
Location: The Highland Center
Youth Workshop (Ages 11–17): 4:00–5:15 PM
Adult Workshop (18+): 5:30–6:45 PM
Participation is FREE, and all skill levels are welcome. The workshops will conclude with a special community poetry reading celebrating the voices and stories of Highland County.
