Grand Opening! Highlander & Visitor Center

All are invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Highlander and Highland County Visitor Center in Monterey on Saturday, July 20th starting at 10 am with a ribbon cutting and family fun!

There will be a bouncy house for children set up until 6 pm, as well as a free ice cream scoop for everyone who attends until 9 pm.

The Highlander is the Chamber's newest Member and Monterey’s newest restaurant, serving pizzas, subs, fried chicken, milkshakes, gifts, and more.

The Highland County Visitor Center has relocated to an independent section of the Highlander to attract more traffic at the popular intersection of Rt. 220 and Rt. 250 – check out the beautiful new maple syrup themed brochure holder when you arrive!

The Highlander’s regular hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 11 am – 8 pm; Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am – 9 pm; and Sundays from 11 am – 6 pm.
