The Highlands Community Orchestra presents: “Bach, Beethoven & Bond….James Bond!” 

Please join us at the Highland Center on Sunday, April 27th, at 3 pm for a spring concert by the talented Highlands Community Orchestra. This event is free (donations are gratefully accepted) and is always a treat! 

Two violin soloists from Pendleton County, Anna Blount & Hannah Crawford, will perform Bach’s Violin Concerto in D Minor, 1ST Movement at the concert. Other selections on the program are the Finale from Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and a James Bond Medley. 

The Highlands Community Orchestra, under the direction of Gretta Sandberg, has been steadily growing since its inaugural concert in August 2023. Players from all over the region have joined in the joy of making music together! They come from Highland Co. (6) & Bath Co. (2) in Virginia and Pendleton Co. (6) & Pocahontas Co. (13) in West Virginia. Some players travel over an hour to come to rehearsals and concerts.
