LOCAL Caregivers Support Group 10:00am – 11:30am on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month in The Mountain View Room at the Highland County Public Library 31 N Water Street, Monterey, VA 24465
FREE AND OPEN TO ALL, NOT JUST HIGHLAND RESIDENTS

Are you caring for a loved one and feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or exhausted? You’re not alone. The Caregivers Support Group offers a safe, welcoming space to share experiences, concerns, and challenges with others who truly understand.
Meeting in a group setting can offer powerful benefits for caregivers, including:
• Reduced feelings of isolation
• Emotional support from people facing similar challenges
• Practical tips and shared wisdom
• A chance to decompress and feel heard
• Improved overall mental health and wellbeing Caregiver burnout is REAL—and common.
Chronic stress, exhaustion, sleep disturbances, and feeling mentally “drained” can all be signs that you’re carrying too much alone. Connecting with others is one of the strongest protections against burnout, helping you gain perspective, find encouragement, and feel supported.
