Friday, October 16, 2026 5:00 PM - Sunday, October 18, 2026 12:00 PM (EDT)
Description
Join us for a transformative weekend of fly fishing, connection, and mountain adventure in the heart of the Alleghenies! This immersive retreat is designed for women of all experience levels—from those picking up a fly rod for the first time to seasoned anglers looking to refine their skills in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Hosted by Christa Miriashtiani from Silver Hen Fly Co. , woman-owned and operated fly fishing guide service. This weekend combines expert instruction, outdoor exploration, and meaningful community. Led by experienced female guides, participants will learn the fundamentals of fly casting, reading water, fly selection, and fish behavior while enjoying the beauty of some of the region’s most scenic streams and rivers.
Silver Hen Fly Co. is known for creating personalized, educational, and inclusive experiences that help anglers build confidence on the water. Nestled among the mountains at Allegheny Mountain Institute, retreat guests will enjoy comfortable accommodations and opportunities to connect with like-minded women who share a love for the outdoors. Between guided fishing sessions, participants can unwind around the campfire, share stories, enjoy local food, and embrace the slower pace of mountain life.
Whether your goal is to learn a new skill, spend time in nature, or simply reconnect with yourself and others, this weekend offers an opportunity to step away from everyday demands and discover the joy, challenge, and empowerment of fly fishing.
