2021 Hands & Harvest Festival Vendor Application- CLOSED

The annual Hands & Harvest Festival is held throughout Highland County during the second weekend in October.  The Chamber is excited to welcome visitors back who are ready to travel after over a year of having events cancelled.  Our 2021 festival plans a full return to in-person activities all three days, including live entertainment, art demonstrations, historic walking tours, a showing of the 1921 classic silent film Tol’able David that was filmed in Highland County, and more!  The Highland County Chamber of Commerce will be following current recommended CDC and VDH guidelines regarding COVID-19.


Arts, crafts and food vendors are an integral part of the festival, with a central exterior location at the Courthouse Lawn at 165 West Main Street in Monterey, Virginia, located on the corner of Main and Spruce Streets.  Vendors are reviewed for uniqueness, quality, and diversity of merchandise.  Vendors are set up on the following days:

  • Friday, October 8th from 3 – 7 pm
  • Saturday, October 9th from 9 am – 5 pm
  • Sunday, October 10th from 11 am – 4 pm

As a vendor in the 2021 Hands & Harvest Festival, you will receive:

  • Your listing details of up to 20 descriptive words on the official Hands & Harvest Festival Map
         * Deadline is no later than 9 am, September 13th to be included on the map

To apply for the Hands & Harvest Festival:

  • Please provide all requested information on the application.
  • Please fully read the Rules of Participation and acknowledge your approval at the end of the form.
  • Please provide three (3) photographs of merchandise to be sold and one (1) photo of your booth setup.  A website that includes the photos is also acceptable.  (Include name and business on the backs of all mailed photos.)
  • At the end of this online application, you'll have the option to pay now or be sent an invoice.  If you want to pay by check or money order, please choose the invoice option, and an electronic invoice will be sent to your email.  If you would like a print invoice mailed to you, please contact events@highlandcounty.org.  Checks can be made payable to the "Highland County Chamber of Commerce."  *There will be a $25.00 service fee for any returned checks.
