Monterey Campground (formerly Allegheny MotoCamp) will hold a Grand Opening at 5026 Jackson River Road just a few miles south of Monterey with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday, May 19^th from 2 – 4 pm.  You’re invited to view this community asset and enjoy refreshments including hamburgers and hot dogs from the grill. 

Monterey Campground is a new family campground located 5 miles south of Monterey, nestled in the beautiful Jackson River Valley.  Primitive campsites or cabin rentals will be available.  The property hosts a clean modern bathhouse with tiled showers, sinks, and toilet stalls.   Enjoy pristine mountain air, peaceful views, wildflowers, bird watching, and wildlife on this 58-acre property in Highland County, Virginia.
